Das Pint of Science Festival ist das weltweit größte Festival für öffentliche Wissenschaftsvorträge, und wird vom 19.-21. Mai 2025 auch nach Mainz zurückkehren! Wir haben die spannendsten Forschenden eingeladen, für euch in Mainzer Kneipen ihr Forschungsthema vorzutragen. Am 21. Mai bieten wir im Salon 3SEIN zwei Vorträge auf Englisch an:

“Ancient DNA: When the present meets the past” (Youssef Tawfik, JGU)

“Fathers’ legacy: How DNA damage passes to kids” (Siyao Wang, IMB Mainz)

Trefft lokale Forschende, lernt über ihre Arbeit und nimmt an einem Pubquiz teil. Die Karten sind ab dem 28. April über unsere Website erhältlich. Karten sind je nach Vorbuchung auch an der Abendkasse erhältlich.

The Pint of Science Festival is the biggest science communication festival in the world and on 19-21 May 2025 it will return to Mainz too! We have invited the most interesting local researchers to talk about their work in bars and cafes around town. On 21 May we offer two talks in English at Salon 3 SEIN:

“Ancient DNA: When the present meets the past” (Youssef Tawfik, JGU)
